Rok made a version of this but it's still to be tested for inclusion. Bumping it up in the hope we can include it in this release.
Dimo said he deploy on testing.plumi so we can check it out.

We've tested the theme a bit. It has some nice touches but it needs a few more days of work. You can check it out by going to site setup->Themes, choosing Sunburst and then go to site setup-> Diazo Themes and enable themes.
Or just let me know when you want to test it and I'll enable it.

I tested out this theme, have attached a screenshot. A great start, but needs significant tidying up before being ready to activate.
Are there any reasons why this should be included in the next release, rather than waiting until it is more mature? Would this be a handy theme for Plumi users to base their own themes on, for example? It isn't ready right now to be be used as a "default" Plumi theme.

These are our thoughts too. A diazo theme is a cleaner way to theme plone than the old school way. This theme is a good start but it needs a few days work to fix all the little things that are missing.
I agree, that it shouldn't be included on this release, but we should keep it in mind the next time we decide to redesign the default plumi skin.
Maybe this ticket should be moved on one of the next milestones.

Moving this to a future milestone, this can be improved upon when the redesign is attempted.

The skin has been created, it is being developed currently in Github. https://github.com/plumi/em.skin

I'm wondering if we should do this for Plumi now so we have the experience to based the EM.org redesign on.
