Description

Create a a fav.ico for Plumi, should be 16x16

I did a quick favicon.ico for the blog - it was dead simple. I know that this is not my realm, but it's a good start, while we wait for our designers.

  1. At  this site I uploaded our banner image and downloaded the resulting zip.
  1. uploaded to /usr/share/wordpress/favicon.ico
  1. From  here I grabbed the favicon-manager plugin, installed it into our wordpress plugins dir and activated it.
  1. I then went to site admin->options->favicon and set the path to the file.
  1. Boom! there it is.

Note that there are two other files you can experiment with if you so desire. They are at the same location and are titled "animated_favicon1.gif" and "preview_16x16.png". The one I uploaded is 32*32. I don't like animated favicons :)
